I have been trying to figure out why the push to destroy the driving experience?
While many innovations have been life saving and welcome (abs/ac/safety glass/seatbelts) just to name a few. We are now inundated with things that work some of the time and at worst none of the time.
Here are few examples:
1. Auto braking, while a great idea it has been plagued by ghost stopping (sometimes on a clear empty highway)
2. Super cruise, when it works it’s great, problem is it is not 100% this does cause a safety issue.
3.touch screens, great concept but they fail at an alarming rate.
4 climate control, multi zone with multi dampers always leads to issues.
