I'm eternally sad that you have to be a "trade representative" to go to SHOT. or SEMA. Or CES. You can't make it a "family & friends" fun affair. You either go alone or with work colleagues. The price of keeping idiots out.

Probably the biggest reason the weekend gun shows remain so popular. It's literally the closest option available.
